This year the event is bigger, brighter, and 100% Leeward-coast proud. Opening night is Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 6–9 p.m. at Kapolei Hale (1000 Uluohia St.), and the lights stay on every night through New Year’s.
Why West-siders say it’s better than Honolulu Hale:
- Zero parking nightmares (free parking everywhere!)
- Shorter lines for everything
- Actual “snow” village with flurries every 30 minutes
- Keiki train rides around the entire campus

Opening Night Schedule – Dec 6, 2025
- 5:30 p.m. – Food trucks & keiki craft booths open
- 6:00 p.m. – Live entertainment on the main stage (halau, local bands, Santa!)
- 7:00 p.m. – Official tree lighting with Mayor Rick Blangiardi
- 7:15–9:00 p.m. – Snow flurries every half hour + fireworks finale at 8:45 p.m.
Daily Hours (Dec 7 – Jan 1)
- Lights on nightly 6–10 p.m.
- Snow Village & Keiki Train: Fridays–Sundays + Christmas week
- Totally FREE admission & parking
Pro tip from a Kapolei mom: Arrive by 5:45 p.m. on opening night if you want front-row for the tree lighting!
